Prescription Refills
Requesting refills online is a great way to save time and beat the crowd at the pharmacy. Fill out the required fields and submit your request. Once we’ve completed your request, we can give you a call or email to let you know your refills are ready to be picked up. If any delay should occur, (e.g. expired prescription or no refills), we will notify you. Most doctors offices allow the pharmacy to submit a request for new refills, however if your doctor requires you to call them directly we will notify you of their policy.
Online Transfers
Many patients think switching pharmacies is a complicated process. How do I get my prescriptions there? Who do I call to get it done? What if they won’t give you, my prescriptions? Transferring medications is actually pretty simple to do. Fill out and submit our transfer form or even give us a call and we can take care of the rest. Don’t think you have to do it yourself! Bubble Packaging
If you want your medications to be individually sealed in compartments for each dose, a bubble packaging system is the best for you. Here at Macungie Community Pharmacy, we are always willing to go the extra mile to satisfy the pharmaceutical needs of our customers. Being able to make their medications safe and organized can be of great contribution to their overall wellness and convenience. We believe that bubble packaging eliminates confusion and allows the person taking the medicine to keep track of their medications. With the various medicines some individuals are taking, medication interaction and mix and match can be dangerous. Filling medicine boxes can be time-consuming too. Simply punch out the medications in the bubble packaging, and you are good to go.

Responsibilities
- As a Pharmacist, you will be receiving incoming prescriptions, reviewing them for accuracy, and filling them with the correct medicine and dose
- You will also be talking with customers to help them understand their medications and possible side effects, advising them on medication storage, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment
- Read and review incoming prescriptions for accuracy, suitability to patient, and potential interactions

Responsibilities
- Answers telephone by the third ring Identifies self and department and asks to assist the caller
- Takes accurate complete messages

- Restocks pharmacy dispensing area and supplies
- Inspects all inventory for expiration dates and proper storage
- You will undertake other tasks under the direction of a pharmacist to provide excellent customer service and ensure the pharmacy runs smoothly
- Greet customers and answer questions
- Receive prescriptions and check their validity
- Process prescriptions electronically and ensure all information is complete and accurate
- Sort, stock, label medication and monitor inventory
- Receiving and confirming daily medication deliveries from vendor
- Undertake administrative tasks (e.g.record-keeping) as assigned
- Comply with all security measures and quality standards

Driver
Requirements
- Must be 21 or older with a valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Safely transport prescriptions and over-the-counter medications to customers' homes or designated locations.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering basic questions about deliveries, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, including time of delivery, recipient signatures, and any issues encountered during the delivery process.
